"There is no greater psychiatrist like a puppy licking your FEET!"
3/20/09--Louie came early, my dear Mother and Sister brought him to us. He is 12 weeks old and an absolute doll. He is so submissive(not timid, shy or scared), even to Jada. He just rolls over and looks at her in the eyes. I can not believe how mellow this pup is.
Jada and Louie have bonded. She loves for him to lick her FEET. We are teaching him not to lick hands or face, only her feet. She laughs and puts her feet in his face for more. I will try to get video of it to share. Louie watches the children continually.
We are looking forward to working with Louie. Yes it will be work, but I do feel he will be a good assistance/companion dog for Jada.
And Jared................WELL HE IS ON CLOUD 9.
4/6/09--Hello to you all. Louie is doing so well. He starts dog obedience training tomorrow.
We went for a day trip with him and the kids. He traveled very well. He also had wonderful manners at the home we were visiting. They had two other dogs there. He got along well with them but was much more concerned about Jada.
He kept checking on her. He would go play for a couple minutes then return to her. I did not ask this of him, he is only 15 weeks. He just did it.
He is so gentle with her and playing around her, even when wrestling with other dogs.
The family was surprised how mellow he is. I was very proud of this pup. It made even more confident that he is and will work out well.

Louie's Magnum Force aka "Louie"
We are so blessed to have found a wonderful pup, Louie's Magnum Force, aka "Louie". He is an American Alsatian. Louie came from Schwarz Kennels in White City, Oregon.
Louie began his training. He is doing wonderful. He has taken 2 sets of General Obedience Classes by Sue Giles-Green. I am working towards getting his Canine Good Citizen Cerificate. I am the one that has held him back in getting this sooner.
Louie definately loves to work. He rides the bus. Louie loads on command, finds his seat, and stays put.
Update: Our dear Louie has been re-homed with a family near by due to his onset of seizures. He is currently with a man who suffers from MS and is doing wonderful.
I go see him and work with him and his new pet. It is hard for me to leave him, but makes me feel good to see that he is happy, well taken care off, and continuing to work. We will keep you all updated.
